Shutts & Bowen decided to relocate their firm from the 9th and 10th floors of the Lincoln Plaza Building to the entire 9th floor and top 16th floor to create a more efficient, collaborative workspace. The top floor now has an 1,850 SF lounge area. They also remodeled the lobby and won the Golden Brick Award for the space!

Transaction Details
This project began as a tenant representation assignment for a high-profile, $85 million mixed-use development that included office, residential, and retail components. The site in question was a city-owned parking structure, which required extensive negotiation with the municipality to secure the property and finalize a favorable development agreement.
Our team successfully navigated the complexities of working with the City to procure the site and establish the terms needed to move forward with the project. The development officially opened in August of 2008—just as the global economic downturn began. Despite launching during one of the most challenging economic periods in recent history, we were able to increase occupancy from just 30% at opening to an impressive 83%, helping stabilize the asset and contribute to the broader revitalization of the area.
